End Time Prophecy

Every morning, the news reads like a drumbeat: wars, upheavals, disasters, breakthroughs. For many, it feels like collapse. For others, it feels like rebirth. Scripture calls this season the last days, while many in the spiritual community call it ascension.

The Greek word for apocalypse means “unveiling.” That is exactly what we’re living through: a great revealing of truth, shadow, and destiny. Let’s look at today’s headlines through both the prophetic and ascension lenses.

1. Wars, Rumors, and Military Upheaval

ree

This week, U.S. military leaders were abruptly summoned to Quantico, Virginia, with speculation of firings or demotions shaking the highest ranks.

Jesus told His disciples: “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:6).

From the end-times lens, this is a warning: even strongholds of earthly power will be shaken.

From the ascension view, it is part of the clearing: old leadership structures must transform or fall away to make room for what is aligned with higher order. Both lenses agree — the shaking is necessary.

2. Earth Groaning: Fires, Floods, and New Pledges

ree

Around the globe, records of heat, floods, and storms keep breaking. A recent climate risk report details staggering human and economic losses, while nations rush to announce new emission cuts and energy pledges.

Paul wrote: “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” (Romans 8:22).

The apocalyptic view sees judgment and upheaval in the land and seas. The ascension view sees the Earth purging toxins, forcing humanity to live in harmony again. Either way, the planet is crying out, and we are being summoned to listen.

3. Global Alliances in Tension

ree

At the NATO summit in The Hague, nations pressed for greater defense commitments amid rising instability.

Prophecy tells us:

“Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” (Matthew 24:7).

These words echo across today’s alliances, summits, and strained negotiations.

Through the ascension lens, these conflicts are birth pangs of unity. Humanity wrestles with diversity, sovereignty, and global conscience — the painful contractions before the emergence of a more cooperative order.

4. Technology Rising: AI as Blessing and Curse

ree

Artificial intelligence is everywhere. The UN’s climate chief recently warned that AI could both harm and help in the fight against global heating.

The prophetic voice warns of human pride: “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:7). We can build endless machines, but wisdom must come from above.

Ascension teaching adds: technology is neutral. It mirrors our consciousness. If fear and greed drive it, it enslaves. If love and stewardship guide it, it liberates. AI becomes either the Tower of Babel or the Tree of Life — depending on the hands that wield it.

5. Wars and Shadows: Conflict in the Nations

ree

We cannot escape the news of violence: U.S. airstrikes in Yemen, cartel battles across the Americas, wars smoldering in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Jesus foretold: “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” (Matthew 24:7).

The apocalyptic reading sees these as the very birth pangs of the end. The ascension view sees them as humanity’s shadow surfacing — collective pain, karmic debts, and old wounds being purged through conflict.

Both views say: the suffering is real, but it is not meaningless. Out of fire, refinement comes.

6. False Prophets and the Battle for Truth

ree

In the wake of assassinations, political murders, and conspiracy floods, we see a war over narrative. Who tells the story? Who controls the truth?

Scripture warns: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24:24).

Today’s disinformation wars are a perfect example. Yet in ascension terms, this chaos is forcing discernment. Every lie that surfaces invites us to awaken to truth. Every deception trains the soul to sharpen its inner compass.

7. The Choice Before Us

ree

Looking at the headlines through these dual lenses, one thing is clear: both prophecy and ascension agree that we are in a time of testing and unveiling.

  • For some, this is the end times: the old world collapsing before Christ’s return.

  • For others, this is ascension: the Great Shift into higher consciousness, the birthing of 5D humanity.

  • In truth, these may be two ways of describing the same reality — collapse and rebirth, judgment and awakening, unveiling and remembering.

As Paul wrote: “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” (Ephesians 5:14).

Living in the Tension

ree

So how should we live in this turbulence?

  1. Anchor in Love, not Fear. Fear feeds collapse; love fuels ascension. “Perfect love casteth out fear.” (1 John 4:18).

  2. Discern collapse from purging. Not all destruction is final; some is cleansing.

  3. Serve in the small things. Every act of compassion, every moment of truth-telling, every prayer shifts the collective field.

  4. Hold prophecy and ascension together. The Bible says “look up, for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28). The spiritual heart says: “We are remembering who we are.”

Conclusion: The Great Unveiling

ree

Whether you call it the end times or ascension, the truth is the same: we are in the midst of a great unveiling. Headlines are no longer just information; they are signs and symbols.

Some see only the storm. Others see the dawn breaking through it.

Both are happening. Both are real. The question is: which script will you choose to live in?

As Jesus said: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” (Revelation 2:7).
